Lunch ideas

Monday: Amy's subway-style sandwiches (pre-make and send up first day)

Tuesday: Taco salad on the go (Fritos mini bag/cheese/lettuce/tomatoes/chili/olives/sour cream/salsa)

Wednesday: PBJ sandwich bar - try different types of jams/jellies (girls could taste test and rate them) OR chef salad or left over sloppy joes

Thursday: Southwest Chicken Wrap (Shredded chicken/seasoning, Spanish rice, sour cream and salsa)



Dinner Ideas

Monday night: Chili or minestrone soup and cornbread (use Gerald's recipe - warm in oven)
Green salad

Tuesday night: Sloppy joes, buns, chips, fruit salad

Wednesday night: Cafe Rio Night
Pre-make chicken
Pre-make seasoned rice
Cans of pinto or black beans
Salad greens
Tomatillo dressing
Tortilla strips (contact CR for a bag)
(Then use left overs for Thursday's lunch Chicken wraps)

Thursday night: Dutch oven night
BBQ chicken or Chicken or Chicken parmesan recipe with noodles or Steak fajitas

Mountain Man (or young woman) breakfast
(pre-cook sausage, peppers, onions - add hash browns and eggs - cook in large skillet on stove)
Orange juice or milk or hot chocolate pkts

Wednesday morning
Platin ol' yummy pancakes or Bisquick shake and pour
Syrup
Butter
Bacon
Orange juice or milk or hot chocolate pkts

Thursday morning
Oatmeal "Bar"
Pot of oatmeal
Bar: bananas/apples/peaches/cinnamon&sugar/brown sugar/raisins
(make in crockpot the night before??? work out details)

OR Breakfast burritos with sausage, egg, salsa, hash browns, tortillas - but similar to Tuesday??

Friday morning (morning after devotional/Bishopric night- they can bring up muffins so they are fresh!)
Costco muffins
Apple juice, orange juice, and/or milk (?? mini chocolate milks - were they a hit?)

Camp 2012

I've been asked to plan the food for the Golden Meadows 2nd Ward Young Women's Camp this year! What fun! I love food and I love the outdoors and I love the girls in my ward and especially my own young woman - what could be better?
